An Electronic Travel Authorization or Visit Visa allows visitors to enter Canada on a temporary residency document which will state the date of entry to Canada and the date for when the visitor(s) should leave again. Most visit visas are issued for duration of 6 months, provided that the visitor meets all necessary criteria to enter Canada.
Visit visas are issued according to a visitor’s nationality, type of travel document used to enter with, country that issues that travel document and method of travel to Canada.
